Prompt: In ten minutes, write a story based on this image.

My story:

Under starry skies with mischief on my mind, I wander down the cobblestone street. What can I accomplish, here where imagination rules and consequences are the funniest jokes?

Before I wake up, I want to see Paris, Rome, and the Great Pyramid of Giza. Money is literally no object in this world inside my mind. Nothing is, so I could eat all the baguettes in France and never gain a pound.

Yes, this world is fantastic and beautiful beyond reckoning, yet I know that all the fun I have now will be lost to memory in a few short hours. What can I get up to before I wake?

A sound distracts me from the shadows, and I am reminded of the part that I cannot control. The darkest part of myself can also manifest here, and it often seeks to frighten or hurt me. Should I run, and spend this whole dream attempting to flee what I cannot escape?

That is often my choice, but not tonight. I'm far too tired to be afraid, and Paris awaits. Why don't you join me, just this once?
